Alice In Future Land Periodical
The task was to create a periodical illustration based on Alice in Wonderland. One of the specific requirements was that it was to include as little Disney inspiration as possible. It was encouraged that I take the design as out of the box as possible, not necessarily sticking to the story, but making sure characters could be recognizable. I chose to go in a retro science fiction direction, casting the Queen of Hearts as a massive mech robot, and Alice as our sci-fi heroine.
